In addition to commemorative pieces relating to the 1744 Original Laws of Golf, Bobby Jones Grand Slam, Open Championships and the Ryder Cup, Nick has produced a number of works for clubs and individuals. His first major commission was for the retiring Managing Director of the Wrigleys Company who was returning to the USA, followed by a major creation of Open Champions from 1860 to 1910 for a Childrens Charity auction, which was featured on SW Television. Since then he has been actively designing and making to order, several of which have been for the Seniors Golfing Society, particularly for their overseas tours, when they are taken as gifts to the host nations; the most recent of which have been Australia and South Africa.
In 2000, the Duke of York was presented with one of his works; at the time the Royal North Devon Golf Club, where Nick is a member, was celebrating its 137th anniversary and Nick made exactly that number of pieces to commemorate the event.
Nick accepts commissions for his work, so if your golf club wishes to commemorate a special event, present a special award or raise funds by selling a beautiful momento of the club to your members, please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.
He will work with you, using either an antique print, memorabilia that you may already own, or new artwork relevant to your requirements, to produce an outstanding collectible item that will bring pleasure for years to come.
